Q. Do you ever decline any recruitment assignments, given that your approach can apply to “any critical vacancy”?
A. We sometimes decline engagements for reasons outlined above, however, given that our clients generally know very clearly what they require, we’re rarely asked to help with vacancies that don’t fit our profile. The most common reason for declining an assignment is due to conflict of interest. Given that we commit to all clients that we will not undertake work with a market competitor, we obviously limit our opportunities in any one industry, hence a client base across a diverse range of industries.
